Vijay Shankar is an Indian cricketer who currently plays for the Tamil Nadu domestic side. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium speed. In 2014, he appeared in one match for the Chennai Super Kings and four for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. He gained headlines for being a key player for the franchise in the IPL 2023.
He is a member of the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023. He scored 53 runs with B Sai Sudharsan’s partnership on April 4, Tuesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, bringing the reigning champions closer to the 163-run mark after they posted 54/3.
